Hi! I know that this list is not too big, but maybe one or two of you are using gcc or gxx. Ok here is the problem for those that do: - I got the newest gcc263bin VMS distribution and installed it (worked fine) - I got the newest bison-1_22 VMS distribution and installed it (fine) - I got the gcc-2_7_2 distribution unpacked it and compiled it ( after one minor problem) with gcc including gxx support. Here the problem: - templates just don't work anymore. They did with the gcc263bin distribution I get parser errors when I use them (maybe BISON made a mistake generating parse.c from parse.y but that seems unlikely. Maybe template support is not backward compatible, but I could not find any remarks about that; especially as it is an one-file-without-including-anything-out-of-the-book-example. - my dilemma: I need the 2_7_2 version if I want to use exception handling (I tried that and that worked with some solvable problems) I would really appreciate it if somebody could comment on this or tell me a third person that would probably be interested in that stuff.
