I have built EMACS-19_28-19960529 on an Alpha with VMS V6.1-1H2, DEC C
V4.0-000 and DECwindows versions:

On another Alpha we have VMS V6.2-1H3, DEC C V5.2-003 and DECwindows versions:

DECwindows xlib ident is                DW V1.2-3950509

When I run it on the other Alpha with the X-windows interface I get this
error:

There is no problem if I run it in a terminal.
When I build emacs on the second Alpha it works OK there.

Any ideas on why this happens?
Will I have to make a special build for the other system, or can this be
fixed?
